Registration
Edale village hall, Saturday 15:00 to 18:00 for the 12K, Sunday from 06:00 for the 24K and 38K. Bring photo ID and your full kit: it is checked before you get a number.
No number, no start. Numbers are not posted out.
Getting there and parking
The field behind the hall holds 120 cars and opens at 14:00 on Saturday. When it is full, use the station car park, 400m (440 yards) down the lane.
Trains from Manchester and Sheffield stop at Edale, five minutes' walk from the hall. The 12K finishes in Hope: the last train back to Edale is the 21:42.
Cut-offs
38K: Kinder Downfall by 10:30, Edale Cross by 13:00. Miss one and the sweeper walks you off by the short way.
There are no cut-offs on the 12K or the 24K.
If it goes wrong
Stay on the route, put every layer on, and ring the number on the front of this pack. Tell the next marshal if you pass someone who has stopped.
If you drop out, tell a marshal or ring us. We count everyone back in, and we will send the hill team looking for anyone we can't account for.
